Biosketch

I graduated cum laude in Foreign Languages and Literature at the University of Bologna in 2002 (major in Linguistics). In 2007 I was awarded a Ph.D. in Linguistics at the Roma Tre University. In my dissertation I analyzed Italian multiword expressions within the framework of Construction Grammar. In 2005 I was a Visiting Scholar at the Vrije Universiteit of Amsterdam.

After my Ph.D, I worked as a Post-doc Researcher at the Department of Linguistics of the Roma Tre University (2007-2011) and as an Adjunct Faculty of General Linguistics at the University of Bologna (2008-2011). I was then appointed Assistant Professor of General Linguistics at the University of Bologna (2011-2014). In 2012 I was a Visiting Scholar at Stanford University (CA, USA). Since September 2104 I am Associate Professor of General Linguistics at the University of Bologna.

My main research interests include the lexicon and the lexicon-syntax interface, morphology and semantics.
